Over population...!

Overpopulation is a condition where an organism's numbers exceed thecarrying capacity of its habitat. Don't follow this, its a copy paste definition. I think everyone knows the meaning of overpopulation. Residents of Karachi are well aware of this. over population has not been the problem in the past. believe it or not, the world population increased just in these 2000 years (A.D). Let me show you that graph....

Its amazing right? yes it is. Now as you have read in the definition of overpopulation, the main problems that occurs is to accommodate, shortage of resources to feed them up, pollution, and many other kind of social problems. Such problems are so big that they need great minds and ideas to resolve, and definitely this needs time too. The world population is 6.93 billion currently. The worlds annual birth rate is 1.915%. Means 2 %? The problems that arises because of this fast growing population are:

1) Shortage of fresh water.

2) Shortage of food.

3) Expected shortage of fossil fuels.

4) Pollution.

The only solution that comes to my mind is eduction and empowerment. I mean its better to do in this way rather than creating resources for every new born. Because births are never going to stop. But it is possible to aware the people about this unthoughtful issue. Because there must be an end to it.
